Why Your Critics Deserve A Hug

This is why criticisms are good for you

You were looked down on that you cannot rise but you went on from there to give yourself the greatest shot.

You were told your grammar is bad and would find it difficult to be a great public speaker, you took it in, bought Brighter Grammar 1-3, digested it like no man business until you became sound and people started applauding you as though it was not you.

You were termed a failure in Secondary School because your result sheets were filled with red pen not until you started becoming diligent and went on to be amidst the best in your Department on campus.

They said you were too fleshy and cannot have an handsome young man as a hubby, then, you watched your weight, did some exercises and now have an enviable marriage.

You were told you don't have enough to succeed in business and you went on to build yourself, invested in the right knowledge and today, you are cashing in so much in revenue.

I guess you have such story too..

Tell me then, why you should not give those who criticized you a hug and thank them all for pushing you.

After wiping your tears from those criticisms, get to work, take actions and you will find out how good they were to you.

I know someone may think on the contrary but I advise you read again before you express it.

We will be wise!

If you remember so well, you did not know all of the things that device could do the first day you used it. You installed several apps and started getting to see more to what it could do for you. You later discovered it could wake you up sometimes, help you stay productive through some task scheduler, produce amazing podcasts and even make awesome videos. You smiled everytime you used it to share a thought and saw how people responded to it. Yet, that was not in your imagination when you bought it. You realised there was more to what the device could do for you than what you normally thought. You know you can speak but currently feeling like that speaking cannot take you that far as there are no connections to help you. You are having a feeling you cannot be that successful author even if your thoughts on Facebook gets some amazing reactions. You feel you are not good enough to lead a team because your leadership ability can only manage few people You feel your voice is only good at making people in your local circle value them. The truth is you cannot know exactly the extent your potentials can take you. The more you use them, the better you get to understand how much they are able to do. I have the privilege to know how much my potentials can do by giving them more opportunities to be used. You may not be paid today but give that skill a chance to be seen. Some day, you will get paid for it. It is never too early to be wise but it can many times be too late. We will be wise!
